Privacy

Your lease numbers never leave your device.

The math happens on your device, so there is nothing for us to collect about your deal. We never sell your data and run no dealer lead-gen. The iOS app and this website differ in one respect, so they are covered separately below: the app has no ads and makes no network requests at all, while this website is ad-supported.

The LeaseWorth iOS app

The app collects nothing. Its App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”, and that is literal rather than aspirational:

  • No network requests of any kind. The app contains no networking code. It cannot upload your worksheet because it cannot make a request. There is no server, no API, and no sync.
  • Reading happens on the phone. Worksheets are read with Apple's own on-device Vision and PDFKit frameworks. Nothing is sent to a cloud OCR service. The jsDelivr CDN described in the website section below is a website mechanism and is not used by the app.
  • No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising identifier in the app. The Google advertising described below applies to this website only.
  • No account. No sign-in, and no VIN, phone number, email address, or home address is ever required.
  • Your data stays in the app, until you delete it. Saved deals and worksheet images live only in the app's own storage on your phone. Settings has a control that deletes all of it immediately and permanently.
  • Sharing is always your explicit action. If you share a report, it goes through the iOS share sheet to a destination you pick, and personal fields are removed by default before it leaves.

The app requests camera, photo library, and file access only at the moment you use those features, and only to read a document you chose.

This website

Everything from here down describes leaseworth.app in your browser, which — unlike the app — is supported by advertising.

How the calculator works

The effective-cost calculator is 100% client-side. Every figure you type — MSRP, selling price, money factor, residual, down payment, your state — is computed in JavaScript running inside your own browser. The same is true of the worksheet scanner: if you choose a dealer PDF, image, TXT, or CSV file, it is read entirely in your browser and is never uploaded. None of it is sent to a LeaseWorth server. There is no round-trip, no upload, and no copy of your deal stored anywhere we can see. The scanner downloads its PDF and OCR software from jsDelivr when needed; jsDelivr receives a normal software request but never receives your selected worksheet.

Advertising & cookies

To keep the calculator free, LeaseWorth shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure those ads, and may collect data as described in their policies. This is third-party advertising data — it is separate from your lease inputs, which (as above) never reach us or Google.

What we do not do

  • No selling your data. We never sell your data. We are not a dealer lead-gen funnel, and your lease inputs are not a product we package or sell.
  • No tracking of your deal. We do not send calculator fields, worksheet files, or results to analytics. Cloudflare may provide aggregate, cookieless traffic measurements such as page views and browser type; Google advertising may use the cookies described above.
  • No accounts. You never sign up, log in, or hand us an email to use the calculator.

Shared links

If you choose to share a result, the link encodes the lease inputs you decided to share — directly in the URL — so the recipient sees the same calculation. That is the only time your numbers travel anywhere, and it only happens because you created and sent the link. Don't want to share the figures? Don't share the link.

Hosting

Like any website, our host receives standard request metadata (such as IP address and browser type) when your browser fetches a page. Cloudflare may use that metadata to provide security and aggregate web analytics. We do not combine it with your lease inputs — because your lease inputs never reach us in the first place.
